25 Weeks Pregnant

Here we are week 25! I swear the days are just flying by. My favorite part of a new week is getting all the updates on my phone from the pregnancy apps. I love reading what is going on with my baby this week. This week she is the size of a cauliflower. WOW! Growing more fat and hair. Speaking of hair… I REALLY hope that old wives tale about having heartburn is true! They say.. if you have heartburn that means your baby is going to have lots of hair ;)
Let me tell you… my heartburn has been BAD this week! I have NEVER had heartburn before in my life and since being pregnant..well lets just say I really feel for you all out there who get it on a regular basis. My love for buffalo chicken may have to be put on hold for a little while :(

My cravings for cereal were out of control this week! I remember looking at Ryan one night and saying I really want some shredded wheat cereal. You know the kind with the white frosty sugary deliciousness smothered on top? haha yeah those! BUT I found a better alternative that satisfied my cravings just the same. Thank you Kashi cinnamon harvest!
So good!

If you follow me on Pinterest you have probably seen my nursery board and know I add a million things on there every day. This week I really focused on what we want to do for our little princess in her nursery. I am so excited about seeing our vision come to life! We wanted it soft and pink and girly! I love how many ideas Pinterest has and I have found so many cute Etsy shops that I can order from. I can't wait to show you guys her nursery when we have it all completed!
Some Pinterest inspiration :)

Best moment this week: Honestly the best moment was watching my stomach move around! This little girl loves to kick and kick hard! So its pretty entertaining to sit back and watch her go in there!
Miss Anything? You all know by this point I miss my blue cheese and deli subs:) But this week I was okay!
Movement: Lots and lots AND LOTS of movement! She is the most active at night time and after I eat.

24 weeks pregnant

I cannot believe I am 24 weeks pregnant! The weeks are really flying by and before we know it our little princess is going to be here. I spend the days wondering what she is going to look like! It intrigues me so much. I do know she is going to have some very blonde hair :)
I have loved every minute of this week! I have been able to remain active and healthy during my pregnancy! I continue to workout every single day with The 21 Day Fix and making healthy choices when it comes to my meals. I am still drinking my Shakeology every day! It really helps me with my sweet tooth right now!

Some workouts from The 21 Day Fix :)

We also did some shopping this week! It was exhausting but so much fun! We ordered all her nursery furniture and picked out bedding. I cannot wait to show you guys what we have planned for her room! AHHHH I get so excited just writing about it! I will tell you its going to be PINK!!! I know it will become my favorite spot in the house <3

This week I feel like I started to POP! I just woke up one morning and my belly was BAM! I am loving it though! I really do love watching my stomach start to pop out and knowing my little one is growing stronger and bigger every day. I just sit back at times and realize… wow! I am growing this little person inside of me. This tiny little human being is going to look like me and my husband! Its crazy to think about! There is something so beautiful about pregnancy!

As I grow.. so does my closet ;) I love that I get to go shopping for some new pieces but I have been trying to pick pieces out that I already have that I can rock during pregnancy too! Maternity clothes can add up FAST! And they get expensive! I have invested in a few pair of nice jeans and tops but I still want to wear some of my clothes I have!
So… I just decided to shop in my own closet and piece together outfits with clothing I have in there!
For example.. the dress I am wearing in my 24 week picture below was one I have had in my closet for a while but I can still wear it so why not?! :) It's kinda fun shopping in your own closet :)

Hello 24 weeks and round belly :) <3
How far along? 24 weeks!!!

Maternity clothes? Oh yes! But still finding some pieces in my closet that I can wear.
Stretch marks? None.
Sleep: Sleeping great! It takes me a little longer to get comfortable and find a position from stuffing pillows here and there but once I do I am sound asleep :)
Best moment this week: My doctors appointment! Getting to hear our babies strong heartbeat is always awesome! I love getting to chat with my doctors. My doctors office is just so great! The whole staff makes me feel confident and comfortable .

Movement: Always movement! Its the best feeling ever! I love being able to see her pop up here and there. Having my stomach move around is still weird and still taking some getting used to it but it is pretty neat!

20 Weeks Pregnant

What an amazing week this has been! Halfway there… OH MY GOSH!!! The time is flying by and I can't believe it will soon be time to meet our little princess. This week we had our doctors appointment and ultrasound and I cannot even begin to describe the feelings and emotions when we saw our little girl. She has grown so much and was moving all over the place. She would not stay still for a second. It was pretty funny to watch. Her little arms and legs were going all over the place. And we did indeed confirm…  it's a little girl :) No doubts about that!
Seeing her little features. gave me butterflies! Her little nose and chin and hands and feet! AHHH I cannot wait to meet her <3

I have also been feeling A LOT of movement this week. She never sits still! It catches me off guard sometimes she kicks so hard! Especially at night time. She is a night owl like her mama ;) It is the most amazing feeling to be able to place my hand on my stomach and feel her moving. It makes me smile :)

I also have to say…we have the most amazing doctors office! They are always so friendly and reassuring at every single appointment. This week they congratulated us on our little girl and gave us a special little gift. HOW ADORABLE is this hat???! One of the staff members there made it! I cannot wait to put it on her!

My cravings this week have been a little weird!!! They come out of no where and sometimes its the most random things! I still want my cheese and mustard sandwiches and raisin bran cereal. I actually had this for dinner the other night! Haha so weird right?! Ate it all together and it satisfied me! I am having more of a sweet tooth this week and its been crazy. It doesn't help with the holidays and the Christmas cookies and other sweets I just had to make and have sitting around.
Let me tell you about this amazing little snack I put together the other night though… Oh my yum!!! Salty, sweet, savory… it is a keeper ;)
Yes! That is popcorn and peanut butter. On their own they are delicious, BUT… put together… EVEN BETTER!!! I melted a little peanut butter and drizzled it on top of my popcorn. Perfect little sweet tooth snack :)

I was also told this week to take it easy with my working out as well. So I had to say bye bye to Chalean Extreme. I have been doing Piyo instead and will be incorporating some walking to get my cardio in. Piyo is perfect for me. Its Yoga and Pilates combined and it still gives me a great workout!

My bump decided to finally make its debut this week :) :)

How far along? 20 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: 9 pounds! Woo too! Little girl is growing :)
Maternity clothes? YES! Did some shopping this week and found some cute jeans and tops. I am ready for some comfort at this point! My little belly just won't fit in my regular jeans anymore bye bye jeans see you in a few months ;)
Stretch marks? None. I have been using my lotions every morning and night before bed.
Sleep: Sleep is better this week. I have still been having a little back pain and hip pain. My sister-in-law gave me this amazing pillow called the snoogle. It has been amazing! I slept so hard the first couple of nights I used it. it helps support my back and it's just so comfortable to snuggle up to.
Best moment this week: Seeing little baby P! The ultrasound was soooo amazing! Hearing her heartbeat and seeing her move around was so amazing. Seeing all her tiny little features and hands and feet and fingers and toes ahhh I just can't even describe how it felt. She was a jumping jelly bean in there so it was pretty entertaining to watch.
Miss Anything? Subs just subs. :(
Movement: This little girl is a tumbler! The movement this week has been crazy! She has been kicking harder and wiggles around in there so much. Who knew something so tiny could make movements that big!? I really feel her the most at nighttime.
Food cravings: Just cheese and mustard… lots of mustard. The more the better! Raisin Bran cereal and popcorn with peanut butter.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope
Gender: GIRL!!!! Team pink all the way :)

Symptoms: A little back and hip pain.

I really have had an amazing pregnancy so far. I had no morning sickness, I did have a couple days of nausea early in. I am doing my best to eat healthy (minus all those cravings I just can't help sometimes). and continue with my workouts at home. I made a promise to myself that I would remain healthy and fit during my pregnancy and I am doing my best to make sure that happens :)

A little video of me doing Chalean Extreme. I have been doing this program with no problems. There are some moves I have to modify at times and I make sure I listen to my body and stop and rest when I need to.

I also ordered this program to try as well. I heard prenatal yoga is great so I will keep you updated and let you know what I think :)

Thanks for visiting and please check back! I will be updating every week on this amazing journey <3 <3
